December 27, 2025 - Tested unit with my frequency counter and was able to get 3.5 MHz as expected. Here's the power supply the unit had that a previous owner had built.
December 24, 2025 - Unit arrived and it has a 120v power supply - here's the schematic drawing from the inside.
December 20, 2025 - Picked this up - waiting for it to arrive.
December 24, 2025 - Picked this Heathkit QF-1 up at the Stone Mountain hamfest back in November - was going to just use the cabinet for a project but it looked so nice I decided to keep it and I found another box for that project.
December 20, 2025 - Received the unit this past week and got the part number for the large connector from Chris ZL1CVD - The part number is: PT06A-16-998S(SR) and I have sent an email to Bill Perry to see if he can get one for me.
December 14, 2025 - Purchased a Rockwell Collins 548S-3 POWER AMPLIFIER COUPLER 787-6781-006. Also, I should have all the connectors needed for this project - worked with Bill Perry to acquire them.
June 18, 2025 - Purchased the Amplifier - a Collins 548S-5 - this is the pressurized version of the 548S-3. Sadly the seller couldn't find the unit they sold me so they refunded my money.
June 13, 2025 - Found a Collins 990C-3D mount for $100.
